The Vampire Combat Field Guide: A Coloring and Activity Book For Fighting the Bloodthirsy Undead by Roger Ma

Since it is the Halloween month and incidents of the undead have been on the rise (not all of them sparkle), we people need to learn to protect ourselves from those who see us as their next meal. Roger Ma’s The Vampire Combat Field Guide promises to get the unsuspecting civilian ready to battle the monsters who get themselves invited into our houses.

No, it is not a guide on how to kiss vampires. Wrong book. This guide is all about how to emerge somewhat unscathed and a proper victor from your run in with a (non-sparkly, non-vegetarian) vampire.

The book comes with informative pages (classifications of vampires), activities (attack scenarios with questions to answer), and illustrations that the fighting human can colour in case the stress of vampire hunting gets her down.

The book gives vampire hunting tactics, zeroing in on which points on the vampire’s body to zoom in on in the case you have not already become food and retain enough wits to consider killing the superhuman predator.

The guide is amusing and takes itself seriously enough that users will be entertained. Makes for a great Halloween gift.
