This very talented artist, Obsidian, illustrated four fairytales which are distinctly European in origin (though some of them certainly may have Korean equivalents) wearing traditional Korean clothes. Enjoy the vibrance.

Mmm. I don’t think any of these has a specifically Korean equivalent (that I’ve heard of!), though the second illustration may be a Japanese tale of the snow lady who appears and beguiles men? If it’s not the one made by Andersen, that is.
Actually, I think the aesthetic is Korean – Japanese – Chinese – Korean, as to their costumes. Beautiful!
The Hanboks are so pretty! And I especially love the rabbit in his get up. The second one does seem more like a kimono, doesn’t it? Well, it was not clarified so I erred on the side of beautiful. Hehe.
These are so good! And it’s so clear what stories are being depicted (some of my absolute favourites actually)
I love them!
