I live in Vancouver and this sounds like a fantastic event! However, what does a “roundtable” really entail? Is it anything like the WritersFest? How does it work…?
This is a bit more intimate than writers fest. The VCLR is just the name of the group organizing this – they don’t actually have official meetings while sitting at roundtables. ^__^ They do have fantastic talks during these events by not just the headling act (i.e. Mary Louise Gay) but also other people in the business. Then there’s breakfast which is always delicious. Books are also sold and the author does signings as well. It’s great fun!
